Our History:
Originally founded in 1932, 1st United Services Credit Union has a long history of service in the Bay Area and is open to anyone who resides, works, or attends school in Alameda or Contra Costa counties in California.
Community:
1st United Services Credit Union reaches beyond serving our members' financial needs. We also sponsor, host and support various community and school related events, charitable fundraisers and festivals.
Youth Financial Literacy:
At 1st USCU, we believe that developing good money management skills early in life leads to financial success in the future. Through interactive presentations at schools, we teach the fundamentals of managing finances, giving students the basic knowledge necessary to make educated choices.
Member Seminars:
We frequently hosts free educational seminars for members. Special topics have included: first-time home buying, credit building, identity theft, and youth spending and saving.
Local Events and Participating Sponsorships:
Every year the staff at 1st United Services Credit Union participates in a variety of local festivals, health fairs, and special events. We enjoy the opportunity to talk with members of the community at these events And members enjoy the free give-a-ways and special offers and prizes that we hand out to the thousands of attendees.
